Peace Pantry volunteers and sponsors gathered at Palmer’s for a check presentation — celebrating a $14,565 donation to support DISD students in need.
The Live Local Group and our East Dallas neighbors came together for another unforgettable Peace Pantry Drive-By Donation Event. The results were inspiring: every local Peace Pantry refilled, and more than $15,000 raised to support families in need.
Peace Pantries are school-based programs that provide essential groceries — no questions asked. Each pantry is stocked with shelf-stable items like pasta, rice, and snacks, all coordinated by the Woodrow Community Peace Pantry 501(c)(3), the central hub for East Dallas schools.
From One Idea to a Movement
Our leader Nancy Wilson was one of the founding members of the original Peace Pantry effort at Woodrow Wilson High School. What began with a handful of volunteers and one school has grown into a network of compassion that now spans multiple campuses.
We’re proud to serve our East Dallas community as a collective of agents who live local and give local. Together, our team brings this mission to life every day:
Nancy Wilson • Karen Cuskey-Hartman • Maggie Terilli • Geyden Sage • Clara Sepulveda • Ivonne Zambrano • Darlene Harrison • Natalie Rambo
Each one brings heart, hustle, and a deep commitment to the neighborhoods we serve — proving that real estate can create real impact.
